Hours after six Taliban insurgents attempted to attack a major NATO airfield in Kandahar, U.S. Rep. Joe Wilson rode in an armored vehicle through the crowded streets of the same city in southern Afghanistan.

Today Joe visited Sign It Quick in Columbia to do some last minute work to get ready for the campaign bus tour which begins next week.

Before getting down to work Joe talked with workers about his plans to help the economy and create more jobs. Joe mentioned his belief that cutting taxes for individuals and businesses is the first step to help put more people back to work.

Joe also mentioned the government healthcare takeover, which could cost up to 1.6 million jobs according to a recent National Federation of Independent Business study. Joe proposes repealing Obamacare and replacing it with a free-market system that still covers pre-existing conditions while allowing patients to buy insurance across state lines and gives small businesses greater buying power.

We’ll put up a list of all the locations the Joe Means Jobs express will visit. For now, here are some photos of Joe in action.

Thanks to Stan Wetherell and his crew at Sign It Quick for the help and the spiffy logos!

MoveOn.org “Protests” Joe Wilson

The liberal extremist group MoveOn.org really is out of touch with the American people. In their planned march on Congressman Wilson’s office last week, they were only able to recruit one lonely soul for their cause. Just one lone protestor waved angry signs to passing cars
